Travel Med Surg RN

Role & Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in medical-surgical and telemetry units. Assess patient conditions, monitor cardiac telemetry, administer medications, and prepare patients for procedures. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalized care plans. Document patient information accurately, advocate for patient needs, and ensure safety and infection control practices. Assist with discharge planning and maintain a safe environment for recovery. Perform other duties within the scope of practice and adhere to safety and regulatory standards. Qualifications & Skills Minimum one year of recent Med Surg RN experienceValid RN license per state regulationsCurrent BLS (AHA/ARC) certificationStrong clinical, critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skillsPhysical ability to move equipment and assist patientsProficiency in reading, writing, and using computersMental resilience to work under pressure and handle irregular activityVisual acuity and effective communication abilities Key Duties Explain procedures, administer treatments, and monitor patient responsesConduct assessments, document care, and collaborate with team membersMaintain infection control and safety protocolsSupport discharge processes and advocate for patient preferences
