Travel Med Surg RN

We are seeking a Med Surg RN for a travel assignment in a medical-surgical and telemetry unit. Responsibilities Include Assessing patient health and monitoring vital signs and telemetry dataAdministering medications and treatments per standardsCollaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plansEducating patients and families about procedures and treatmentsEnsuring patient safety, infection control, and documentation accuracyPreparing patients for diagnostics and assisting with proceduresManaging multiple patients, prioritizing care based on acuityFacilitating discharge planning and advocating for patient needs Qualifications And Skills Required At least one year of recent Med Surg RN experienceValid RN license according to state regulationsCurrent BLS certificationCritical thinking, excellent communication, and interpersonal skillsPhysical ability to move and assist with equipmentProficiency in English, documentation, and basic PC skillsAbility to work under pressure and adapt to irregular schedules Preferred Certifications NIHSSACLS (AHA/ARC) Key qualities: clinical competence, professionalism, teamwork, and commitment to patient safety.
