About the role
Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in medical-surgical and telemetry units as a Travel Med Surg RN.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient conditions and monitor cardiac telemetry
- Administer medications and document care
- Prepare patients for procedures
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Ensure infection control and maintain safety protocols
- Advocate for patients and facilitate discharge planning
- Explain procedures to patients and manage multiple patient assignments
- Work effectively with healthcare teams to meet diverse patient needs
Requirements
- At least one year of recent Med Surg RN experience
- Valid RN license
- Current BLS certification
- Preferred certifications: NIHSS and ACLS
