Travel Med Surg RN - $2,593 per week

About the role

Hospital in Alaska is seeking a traveling Med/Surg RN!

Candidate must have at least 3 years of Med/Surg Inpatient experience. Peds experience is required. This contract is for 13 weeks starting ASAP!

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Assess patients’ physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Document patient progress and responses to treatment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
• Perform basic life support and advanced cardiac life support as needed.

Requirements

• Current licensure as an RN in the state of practice.
• Current CPR certification (BLS).
• Current ACLS certification.
• 3+ years of Med/Surg Inpatient experience.
• Pediatric experience required.

• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Passionate about travel nursing and providing exceptional patient care.
