About the Role

Provide occupational therapy services to patients in their homes by evaluating functional abilities, developing individualized treatment plans, and promoting independence through therapeutic interventions. Utilize OASIS documentation while collaborating with an interdisciplinary home health team.

Travel throughout the Owosso service area. Schedule: Days, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM with a 40-hour guarantee. No weekends, no holidays, no call.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations in the home setting.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Complete OASIS documentation accurately and timely.
• Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques, equipment, and home safety.
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary home health team.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and treatment records.
• Travel throughout the assigned coverage area to provide patient care.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of current Occupational Therapy experience.
• Minimum 2 years of current Home Health experience.
• OASIS experience.
• Active Michigan Occupational Therapy License (must be in hand at submission; cannot pend).
• Current AHA BLS Certification.
• Reliable personal vehicle with a clean driving record.
• Proof of auto insurance.
• No local candidates within 50 miles.
• No RTO (request time off) accepted for this assignment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong independent clinical decision-making skills.
• Previous rural home health experience.
• Excellent time management and scheduling abilities.

Typical daily mileage: 35–50 miles. Mileage reimbursed at the current federal rate (calculated from the main office). Olive green scrubs required.
