About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Night Shift Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse to join our team. This position involves working 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, totaling 36 hours per week. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced medical-surgical environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Assist in the planning and implementation of patient care plans.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and care protocols.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of current Medical-Surgical nursing experience is required.
• Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
• Must possess a current nursing license.

Qualifications

• ICU experience is highly preferred.
• Previous travel nursing experience is highly preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is highly preferred.

Schedule

• 12-hour night shifts (7 PM to 7 AM), 36 hours per week.
• 13-week duration.
• Requires working every other weekend.
• No on-call responsibilities.
