Travel nurse RN Med Surg position in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. Start date: October 12, 2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Hours: 36 hours per week. Shift: 12‑hour flexible shifts. Employment type: Travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for primarily adult patients before and after surgical procedures; also attend to those being treated with pharmaceuticals to manage illness.
• Be well‑versed in a large variety of health conditions encountered in a Med/Surg setting.
• Complete assignments made by physicians.
• Provide routine treatment and post‑surgical care.
• Assess changes in patient health status and perform various treatments.
• Administer medication.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of medication and treatment administration to ensure continuity of care among nursing staff, physicians, and the treatment team.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum eighteen months of recent experience in an acute care Med/Surg setting.
• Additional requirements may be specified by the client facility.
