Travel Med Surg RN - $2,392 per week

ND Global Consulting Services is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Medical/Surgical travel position in Utica, New York.

About the role

This 13-week assignment starts on 08/31/2026 and offers 36 guaranteed hours per week on night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM. The role involves providing high-quality care to adult patients with conditions such as stroke, altered mental status, renal issues, dialysis, COPD, CHF, pneumonia, and other general medical-surgical cases. Floating may be required. The unit is equipped with specialty equipment like IV pumps, N/G tubes, and feeding tubes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical patients.
• Manage care for patients with conditions including stroke, renal issues, COPD, CHF, and pneumonia.
• Operate and monitor specialty equipment such as IV pumps, N/G tubes, and feeding tubes.
• Float to other units as needed.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Minimum of two years of experience in Medical/Surgical nursing, including stroke stepdown experience.
• Prior travel nursing experience.
• Proficiency in EPIC EMR.
• Current certifications in AHA BLS and NIHSS.
• Navy blue scrubs as the required uniform.

Schedule

• 13-week assignment starting 08/31/2026.
• 36 hours per week, 12-hour night shifts (6:30 PM to 7:00 AM).
