About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a 13-week assignment starting August 17, 2026, in Des Moines, Iowa.
Responsibilities
- Treatment of patients requiring surgical procedures
- Assessment and monitoring of patient health status
- Administration of medications and treatments
- Documentation of patient care and progress
- Collaboration with other healthcare professionals
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Iowa
- Current BLS certification
Qualifications
- Experience in Med Surg setting preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacology
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Pay
