About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a 10-week assignment starting July 20, 2026, in Elko, Nevada.
Responsibilities
- Provide care to patients in a Med Surg / Telemetry unit.
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures.
- Perform patient assessments and develop treatment plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Document patient care activities accurately.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Nevada.
- Current BLS certification.
- Experience in Med Surg / Telemetry preferred.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
Skills
- Proficient in electronic health records (EHR).
- Knowledge of telemetry monitoring systems.

Pay
The pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week, subject to confirmation. The exact amount will be determined upon hire.
