About the role
HealthTrust Workforce Solutions CHS is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Kirksville, Missouri.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care for up to 10 inpatient rehab (Swing) patients
- May absorb med-surg patients if swing volume drops
- Float to other units for tasking only with existing competencies
- Shift: 12 hours, nights (6p–6:30a), weekends required, floating required, call required
- Call requirements: May be placed on call if volume supports, but no more than the 48 hours of call-off time already in the standard contract (no standing call)
Requirements
- 1+ year experience required
- Rehab/Med Surg experience required
- BLS required
- Travelers must show proof of residence greater than 50 miles from facility
- Must not have worked as permanent staff for CHS within the last 12 months
