Travel Med Surg RN - $2,181 per week

About the role

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Med-Surg registered nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Montevideo, Minnesota. This position offers 36 hours per week with 12-hour shifts, available on both day and night rotations.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for primarily adult patients before and after surgical procedures, as well as those receiving pharmaceutical treatment for illness.
• Complete assignments made by physicians.
• Provide routine treatment and post-surgical care.
• Assess changes in patient's health status and perform various treatments.
• Administer medication.
• Ensure meticulous documentation of medication and treatment administration to maintain continuity of care among nursing staff, physicians, and other treatment team members.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS certification.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Med/Surg setting.
• Additional requirements may be determined by the client facility.
