Travel Med Surg RN - $2,171 per week

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN for a Medical‑Surgical assignment in Wheeling, West Virginia. The position is a 13‑week hospital contract, 36 hours per week on 12‑hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care for ortho post‑ops, neuro post‑ops, and general post‑ops including gallbladders, mastectomies, and infections.
• Manage patients with medical conditions such as COPD, CP, pneumonia, and cellulitis.
• Assess and monitor patients on BiPAP, CPAP, high‑flow vents, and perform related duties.
• Collaborate with hospitalist or intensivist for patient management, including in‑house 24/7 coverage.
• Follow hospital protocols for medication administration and patient safety.

Requirements

• BLS certification (required).
• NIHSS certification (required).
• ACLS certification (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license (must be unexpired and submitted with application).
• Licensing hits must be disclosed at time of submission.
• Candidate must reside within a 50‑mile radius of the assignment location.

Pay

Pay range: $2,077.60 – $2,181.48 (based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week; tax‑free stipend amount to be determined).

Schedule

12‑hour shifts: 06:45‑19:15 or 18:45‑07:15. Schedules are created in 6‑week blocks; staff may submit up to six requests off per 6‑week schedule.
