MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing assignment in Alma, Michigan. The position is for a Med‑Surg RN specialty, with a start date of October 12, 2026, duration of 13 weeks, 36 hours per week on 12‑hour shifts, and is a travel employment type.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for primarily adult patients before and after surgical procedures; attend to those being treated with pharmaceuticals to manage illness.
• Be well‑versed in a large variety of health conditions due to the broad range of medical conditions encountered.
• Complete assignments made by physicians.
• Provide routine treatment and post‑surgical care.
• Assess changes in patient's health status and perform various treatments.
• Administer medication.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of medication and treatment administration to ensure continuity of care between nursing staff, physicians, and other treatment team members.

Requirements

• Active RN License
• Degree from an accredited nursing program
• BLS Certification
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Med/Surg setting
