Travel Med Surg RN - $2,040 per week

About the role

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a hospital contract in Salem, Virginia. The position starts ASAP, with a duration of 12–13 weeks, 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts (19:00–07:00). Employment type is travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to post‑operative patients in a hospital setting.
• Maintain drains and wound care procedures.
• Administer medications and monitor patient progress.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care accurately in the EMR system.

Requirements

• Current BLS certification.
• Active RN license (Med‑Surg RN discipline).

Pay

Pay range: $1,952.44 – $2,050.06 per week (based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week). Tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
