Travel Med Surg RN - $2,010 per week

About the Role

Malone Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN for a Med Surg / Telemetry position in Chattanooga, Tennessee. This is a 13-week travel assignment with 36 hours per week, 12-hour night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform IV starts, NGT placement, and wound care
• Interpret cardiac rhythms
• Manage patient care in a 30-bed unit with a 1:6 patient ratio
• Utilize equipment such as wound vacs, heparin gtt, suction, IV pumps, glucometers, bladder scanners, feeding pumps, and telemetry
• Document patient care using the Editech system

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as an RN in Med Surg
• Advanced skills in cardiac rhythm interpretation

Unit Specifics

• Number of Beds: 30
• Patient Ratios: 1:6
• Unit Staffing: 2-3 techs per shift, clinical coordinator (days vary), charge nurse, manager, director
