Travel Med Surg RN - $1,963 per week

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for our Neuro Med-Surg unit. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a team nursing environment, working closely with nursing staff, techs, and unit secretaries to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients with a typical ratio of 6-7 patients per nurse.
• Conduct hourly safety rounds and perform bedside shift reports with patients.
• Aid in the management of patient care alongside a supportive Charge Nurse.
• Participate in team nursing and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
• Float to like units as needed to support the nursing team and patient care needs.

Requirements

• Must possess a valid RN license and be in good standing.
• Current BLS certification required; NIH Stroke Scale certification is also required (can be obtained after hiring).

Benefits

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM. Must work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees.
