Travel Med Surg RN - $1,962 per week

About the role

RN Med Surg / Telemetry travel nurse position in Zanesville, Ohio. Start date 11/16/2026, 13‑week contract, 36 hours per week, 12‑hour day shifts (7:00 AM‑7:30 PM) with every other weekend required and no call. Primary assignment on the 4 West Comprehensive Medical Unit, with potential float to Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation, and ED/Med‑Surg boarders.

Responsibilities

• Assessing and monitoring patient conditions in the Comprehensive Medical Unit.
• Administering medications and treatments as per physician orders.
• Providing education and support to patients and families.
• Collaborating with healthcare team members to deliver patient-centered care.
• Floating between various Med‑Surg units as needed.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Proven proficiency in Epic EMR.
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum of 3 years recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown experience.
• Ability to read Telemetry and pass the competency test on the first day of work.
