Travel Med Surg RN - $1,919 per week

About the role

Travel RN Med Surg position in Salem, Virginia. Start ASAP, 13‑week contract, 36 hours per week on a 12‑hour night shift (7 PM – 7 AM). The role involves caring for post‑operative patients on a Med‑Surg unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality care to post‑operative patients.
• Manage and maintain patient drains.
• Perform wound care and dressing changes.
• Advocate for patients and support a collaborative environment.

Requirements

• Current RN licensure.
• Current BLS certification.
• Experience with post‑operative patient care (preferred).
• Competence in wound care and drain management.
