Travel Med Surg RN - $1,890 per week

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical team in Danville, VA. This travel nursing position requires a commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The facility offers a robust medical service lineup, including surgical services, a 24‑hour emergency department, and specialized centers for wound healing and cardiac rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions regularly.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure patient-centered care.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention.
• Document patient assessments and care in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.

Requirements

• Valid RN license in Virginia.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• 1+ years of Med/Surg experience.
• NIH certification preferred.

Schedule

• Shift: 12‑hour nights (19:00 – 07:00).
• Hours per week: 36 hours.
• Assignment duration: 13 weeks.
• Start date: October 27, 2026.
