Travel Med Surg RN - $1,862 per week

About the role

This is a 13‑week contract position. The MedSurg RN will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in a fast-paced medical-surgical environment. This role involves managing a diverse patient population with a range of diagnoses and ensuring a high standard of care through teamwork and evidence-based practices.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient vitals and provide necessary care interventions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families regarding care plans and health maintenance.
• Adhere to safety and infection control protocols.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of MedSurg nursing experience.
• Current RN License in West Virginia or Compact License.
• Certifications: BCLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required.
• Experience with Cerner EMR preferred.

Schedule

Night shift: 4x12‑hour shifts (19:00–07:00) on weekdays and weekends, totaling 36 hours per week.
