About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a 13-week assignment starting August 24, 2026, in Florence, Alabama.
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients in a Med Surg setting.
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures.
- Assist with patient care activities such as administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with treatments.
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Alabama.
- Current BLS certification.
- Experience in Med Surg preferred but not required.
Qualifications
- Passing scores on the NCLEX-RN exam.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay
The pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend to be determined.
