About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a 13-week assignment starting on August 31, 2026, in Carlsbad, New Mexico.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients requiring medical-surgical interventions
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient care coordination
- Perform routine and specialized nursing tasks as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of New Mexico
- Current BLS certification
- Experience in medical-surgical settings preferred
Qualifications
- Passing score on the NCLEX-RN exam
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay
The pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
