Travel Med Surg RN - $1,777 per week

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel assignment in Dothan, Alabama. Start date: October 5, 2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Shift: 12‑hour nights, 36 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for primarily adult patients before and after surgical procedures; attend to those being treated with pharmaceuticals to manage illness.
• Complete assignments made by physicians.
• Provide routine treatment and post‑surgical care.
• Assess changes in patient's health status and perform various treatments.
• Administer medication.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of medication and treatment administration to ensure continuity of care between nursing staff, physicians and other treatment team members.

Requirements

• Active RN License
• Degree from an accredited nursing program
• BLS Certification
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Med/Surg setting
• Other requirements to be determined by the client facility
