The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Shift Information This position is for day shifts, with hours from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, including rotating weekends. Location The position is located in Jackson, MS. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a medical surgical unit. Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in condition. Educate patients and families on health management and care techniques. Maintain a safe and clean working environment following infection control protocols. Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Qualifications Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification. Minimum of 50 miles permanent residence from the facility.
