Travel Med Surg RN - $1,726 per week

Med Surg / Telemetry travel nurse RN position in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Start date: 11/02/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. 36 hours per week, 12‑hour night shifts. Employment type: Travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for primarily adult patients before and after surgical procedures; attend to those being treated with pharmaceuticals to manage illness.
• Be well‑versed in a large variety of health conditions due to the broad range of medical conditions encountered.
• Complete assignments made by physicians.
• Provide routine treatment and post‑surgical care.
• Assess changes in patient's health status and perform various treatments.
• Administer medication.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of medication and treatment administration to ensure continuity of care between nursing staff, physicians and other treatment team members.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS certification.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Med/Surg setting.
• Other requirements to be determined by the client facility.
