Travel Med Surg RN - $1,672 per week

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a quality Med-Surg registered nurse (RN) for a travel assignment with one of our top healthcare clients in Opelika, Alabama.

About the role

Travel nursing position specializing in Medical-Surgical care for primarily adult patients before and after surgical procedures, as well as those receiving pharmaceutical treatments for illness.

Hours: 36 hours per week
Shift: 12 hours, days

Responsibilities

• Complete assignments made by physicians
• Provide routine treatment and post-surgical care
• Assess changes in patient's health status and perform various treatments
• Administer medication
• Meticulous documentation of medication and treatment administration to ensure continuity of care among nursing staff, physicians, and other treatment team members

Requirements

• Active RN License
• Degree from accredited nursing program
• BLS Certification
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Med/Surg setting
• Additional requirements may be determined by the client facility
