Travel Med Surg RN - $1,666 per week

About the role

The MedSurg Ortho/Neuro RN will be responsible for providing exceptional nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical unit with a focus on orthopedic and neurological conditions. The role involves working collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure the best patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patient conditions in accordance with established protocols.
• Administer medications and manage IV therapies.
• Provide care for patients recovering from orthopedic and neurosurgical procedures.
• Document patient care efficiently within the Epic charting system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate comprehensive patient care.

Requirements

• Active South Carolina RN license or a compact license.
• Minimum of 2 years of MedSurg experience, preferably with Ortho/Neuro backgrounds.
• BLS certification is required; ACLS is preferred.
• Familiarity with Epic charting is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Experience in a MedSurg setting, preferably with Ortho/Neuro backgrounds.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Epic charting.
• Knowledge of orthopedic and neurological conditions.

Pay

The Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
