This position requires a strong foundation in cardiac rhythm interpretation, respiratory care, and the administration of cardiac drips. Unit Information Unit: Telemetry 3 South Number of Beds: 34 private rooms Staffing: Day Shift: Charge Nurse, 7 RNs, 3 Patient Care Technicians (PCTs), Unit Clerk Night Shift: Charge Nurse, 7 RNs, 3 PCTs Patient Ratios: 5:1 Type of Equipment: GE Telemetry, Pyxis, Welch Allen Vital Sign Monitors EMR: Meditech Qualifications Required Skills: Cardiac Rhythm Interpretation Respiratory experience, including advanced airways and oxygen management Administration of non-titrated cardiac drips Preferred Certifications: ACLS/ALS Responsibilities As a Registered Nurse in this unit, you will be responsible for: Performing various procedures, including stress tests, heart catheterization, and CABG. Conducting paracentesis, thoracentesis, and chest tube management. Team Environment Ideal candidates will be team players who effectively collaborate with colleagues and contribute positively to the unit culture.
