Travel Med Surg RN - $1,435 per week

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Med/Surg unit. The unit consists of 16 beds, providing care primarily for medical and surgical patients, including those with COVID-19. The nurse will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care while managing an average patient load of 4 to 6 patients at a time.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to medical and surgical patients
• Perform standard nursing skills including IV insertions, urinary catheter insertion and maintenance, and medication administration
• Document patient information in the electronic health record (EHR)
• Communicate effectively with all members of the care team

Requirements

• Must be a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with 1+ years of recent acute Med/Surg experience
• Preferred 2+ years of acute Med/Surg experience within the last year
• Background in orthopedics or neurosurgery is highly desired

Pay

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Schedule: 07:00 - 19:00, 12 hours, days, 36 hours per week, 13-week contract position.
