Travel Med Surg RN - $1,435 per week

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Med/Surg unit in Corpus Christi, TX. This is a 13-week travel contract position with a night shift schedule (19:00 - 07:00). The role involves providing quality care to patients, including those who are Covid positive, in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for Med/Surg patients, including those recovering from surgery.
• Perform standard nursing skills such as IV insertions, urinary catheter insertions/maintenance, and central line maintenance.
• Administer medications and communicate effectively with all members of the care team.
• Document patient information in the EHR (Meditech).

Requirements

• At least 1 year of acute Med/Surg experience within the last year.
• Ability to care for 4-6 patients at a time.
• Valid RN license in the state of Texas.

Qualifications

• Preferred: 2+ years of acute Med/Surg experience.
• Preferred: Background in ortho or neuro-surgery.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
