About the role
Join our dynamic team on a 33-bed medical-surgical floor equipped with 16 telemetry monitors. The ideal candidate will engage in providing high-quality patient care to diverse populations, including orthopedic, bariatric, and cardiology patients.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess patient conditions utilizing telemetry.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Assist in post-operative care for orthopedic and bariatric patients.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic patient care.
- Educate patients and their families regarding health management.
Requirements
- BLS certification is required; ACLS certification is preferred but not mandatory.
- Active nursing license is required.
- Experience with Meditech EMR is beneficial.
Schedule
This position requires a 12-hour night shift, working three shifts per week with availability for block scheduling. Flexibility to work every other weekend is also an option.
