Travel Med Surg Ortho Trauma RN - $2,211 per week

About the role

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a quality Med-Surg registered nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in Omaha, Nebraska. This position is for 13 weeks, starting 08/17/2026, with a schedule of 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for primarily adult patients before and after surgical procedures, as well as those being treated with pharmaceuticals to manage illness.
• Complete assignments made by physicians.
• Provide routine treatment and post-surgical care.
• Assess changes in patient's health status and perform various treatments.
• Administer medication.
• Meticulous documentation of medication and treatment administration to ensure continuity of care among nursing staff, physicians, and other treatment team members.

Requirements

• Active RN License.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• BLS Certifications.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Med/Surg setting.
• Additional requirements may be determined by the client facility.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined. Weekly payment estimates include a gross estimate of hourly wages and reimbursements for meal, incidental, and housing expenses.
