About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Registered Nurse for our Orthopedic/Telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in orthopedic nursing, particularly related to joint replacements and fractures. This role involves caring for patients in an acute care setting, ensuring high-quality patient care and effective communication with the healthcare team.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care for orthopedic patients, including those undergoing joint replacements and treating fractures.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and administer medications as prescribed.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Assist in managing and coordinating patient flow within the unit.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and post-operative care.
- Adhere to all health and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
Requirements
- Must have a valid RN license and BLS certification.
- Strong orthopedic nursing experience is required, particularly with joint replacements.
- Previous experience in telemetry nursing is preferred.

Pay
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
