MedPro Healthcare Staffing, a Joint Commission‑certified staffing agency, is seeking a quality Med‑Surg registered nurse (RN) for a travel assignment with one of its top healthcare clients in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Med‑Surg nurses provide care for adult patients before and after surgical procedures and for those receiving pharmaceutical treatment for illness, requiring knowledge of a wide range of health conditions.

Responsibilities

• Complete assignments made by physicians.
• Provide routine treatment and post‑surgical care.
• Assess changes in patient's health status and perform various treatments.
• Administer medication.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of medication and treatment administration to ensure continuity of care among nursing staff, physicians, and the treatment team.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum eighteen months of recent experience in an acute care Med/Surg setting.
• Additional requirements may be specified by the client facility.

Pay

Weekly pay is provided via direct deposit; the pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week, with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
