MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for an Oncology Registered Nurse assignment in Columbus, Ohio. The assignment starts 11/16/2026, lasts 16 weeks, with 36 hours per week on 12‑hour shifts (days, nights, flexible). Employment type is travel. MedPro Healthcare Staffing is a Joint Commission‑certified staffing agency.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for cancer patients throughout all stages of their conditions, usually focusing on the acute phase.
- Assist patients ranging from post‑surgical to near‑terminal manage their disease and treatment effectively, and may be responsible for administering chemotherapy.
- Educate cancer patients about treatment options, procedures and particularities of the disease.
- Administer chemotherapy.
- Implement new methods of symptom treatment and monitor patients’ progress.
- Create a supportive environment for patients.
- May opt to specialize in areas such as pediatric hematology/oncology or breast cancer.
