MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel assignment in Charlottesville, Virginia. The position starts 10/26/2026, lasts 13 weeks, requires 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts, and is a travel employment type. MedPro is a Joint Commission‑certified staffing agency that has placed nursing and allied travelers in top healthcare facilities nationwide since 1983, and is seeking a quality Med‑Surg RN for one of its top healthcare clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for primarily adult patients before and after surgical procedures and for those receiving pharmaceuticals to manage illness.
• Be well‑versed in a large variety of health conditions due to the broad range of medical conditions encountered.
• Complete assignments made by physicians.
• Provide routine treatment and post‑surgical care.
• Assess changes in patient health status and perform various treatments.
• Administer medication.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of medication and treatment administration to ensure continuity of care among nursing staff, physicians, and the treatment team.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum eighteen months of recent experience in an acute care Med/Surg setting.
• Additional requirements may be determined by the client facility.
