Travel Med Surg Float Pool RN - $1,811 per week

About the Role

AMN Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Float Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Danville, Pennsylvania. This is a 13-week travel assignment working 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts. You will work in a Magnet-recognized hospital, floating between medical-surgical units to provide direct patient care and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on medical-surgical units as a float pool RN
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Perform patient assessment and care coordination
• Implement evidence-based interventions and discharge planning
• Work 3x12-hour shifts including day/night rotations, weekends, and holidays as needed

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program
• Current Pennsylvania RN license (Compact accepted)
• At least one year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
• BLS-AHA certification
• Experience with Bi-Pap/Hi-Flo

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse, MS with 2 years of experience
• ACLS certification preferred

Pay

Pay rate: $1765.00 - $1856.00 per week, based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
