Travel Mammography Technologist

Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures
• Explain procedures to patients and ensure their comfort
• Position patients and monitor image quality for diagnostic accuracy
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams
• Follow safety, infection control, and radiation standards
• Aid with patient care and procedural needs

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum one year of mammography experience
• Current state license and BLS certification
• PREFERRED: ARRT certification
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to handle equipment and move patients
• Ability to work under pressure and adhere to safety protocols
• Visual acuity and proficiency in technical tasks
