Travel Mammography Technologist

About the role

Implement physician orders, assist with breast diagnostic procedures, perform screenings and imaging to aid in breast disease diagnosis and treatment. Ensure accurate imaging, maintain equipment, follow safety standards, explain procedures to patients, position them correctly, monitor image quality, collaborate with healthcare teams, and adhere to safety and infection control protocols. Perform additional duties within scope of practice.

Requirements

• Minimum one year of mammography experience
• Current state license and BLS certification
• Preferred ARRT certification
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and PC skills
• Ability to follow instructions
• Physical ability to move equipment and position patients
• Effective teamwork and professionalism
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain concentration
