American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist with dual proficiency in X-Ray and Mammography for a teaching hospital's imaging department. Work in a state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging department offering MRI, CT, ultrasound, X-Ray, and mammography services.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment and initiative to facilitate diagnosis.
• May assume supervisory or instructional responsibilities for department personnel as assigned.
• Demonstrate proficiency with PACS, HIS, and RIS computer systems, including CR, DR, and PACS troubleshooting.
• Practice infection control and body substance isolation in compliance with hospital and OSHA standards.
• Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
• Attend annual mandatory education including bloodborne pathogens and infection control training.
• Remain current with continuing education in both radiology and mammography.
• Be willing to work two required holiday blocks, including Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year periods with surrounding weekends.
• Limit time off to no more than 5 days of RTO, with all requests finalized prior to submission.
