Travel Mammography Technologist - $2,846 per week

Job Summary

We are looking for a talented Mammography Technologist with Acute Care experience to work at an excellent healthcare facility in Glenwood Springs, CO. This is a fantastic opportunity to build upon your mammography skills while advancing your career as a mammographer. The travel assignment will entail acquiring diagnostic images of the breast using specialized x-ray equipment. You care about patients and do your best to make them feel comfortable during the procedure.

Job Responsibilities

• Explain the procedure to patients, and properly position them to obtain the best image for the physician.
• Maintain, calibrate, and operate sophisticated medical imaging equipment that uses low-level radiation to produce detailed images of the breast.
• Provide empathetic and professional care to make patients feel more comfortable and assured.

Job Requirements

• Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology
• Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology
• CPR/ BLS certification
• 2 years of experience required within the last 5 years
