Travel Mammography Technologist - $2,486 per week

About the role

American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist for a 13-week travel contract at a Magnet-designated, Level II Trauma acute care hospital in Alaska.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography procedures in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during examinations.
• Accurately document patient information and results in Epic EMR.
• Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare providers.
• Floating between facilities within Alaska may be required.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of Mammography Technologist experience.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• Active professional license required if applicable.
• Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting required for consideration.

Qualifications

• Full SSN and DOB required for consideration.
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible.

Pay

The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
