About the role
American Traveler is seeking a travel Mammography Technologist for a short-term acute care hospital in Portland, OR.
Responsibilities
- Work in a short-term acute care hospital setting with 418 staffed beds
- Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio in the mammography unit
- Perform mammography procedures under the supervision of a radiologist
- Operate Hologic mammography equipment
- Utilize Epic EMR system
- No weekends, on-call, or block scheduling required
- No floating between units within this assignment
- Must have 2 years of Mammography Technologist experience
- Must have proficiency with Hologic mammography equipment
- Must have Epic EMR experience
- Biopsy experience preferred but not required
- Must have an active professional license if applicable
- Must provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
- Must have a full Social Security Number and Date of Birth for consideration
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of Mammography Technologist experience
- Proficiency with Hologic mammography equipment required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Biopsy experience preferred but not required
- Active professional license required if applicable
- Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
- Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
Benefits
Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
