About the role
GrapeTree Medical Staffing Allied is seeking a travel Mammography Technologist for a position in Boston, Massachusetts.
Responsibilities
- Perform mammography procedures according to established protocols and guidelines.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during examinations.
- Document patient information accurately and timely.
- Adhere to infection control practices and maintain sterile field.
- Communicate effectively with patients and other healthcare team members.
Requirements
- Current state certification as a Mammography Technologist.
- Experience in mammography preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
- Pass a background check.
Skills
- Proficiency with mammography equipment.
- Attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills.
