Travel Mammography Tech - $2,960 per week

About the role

American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist with 2+ years of experience in screening and diagnostic mammography for an outpatient-focused assignment. The position is primarily in the Mammography department, working 5×8‑hour day shifts Monday–Friday (either 7:00 AM–3:30 PM or 8:00 AM–4:30 PM) with no call required. Start date is October 26, 2026 for a 13‑week assignment (1 opening). Potential to float within the hospital based on patient care needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures.
• Utilize 3‑D mammography, diagnostic and screening mammograms, fine needle aspiration, needle localizations, and stereotactic biopsy techniques.
• Apply knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE.
• Chart in EPIC system.
• Adhere to the maximum of 5 days RTO per assignment, disclosing requests at submission.
• Follow facility policies regarding custom scheduling (none allowed).

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in mammography.
• Current BLS certification.
• EPIC charting experience.
• Active Washington state license (if applicable).
• Experience with 3‑D mammography, diagnostic mammograms, screening mammograms, fine needle aspiration, needle localizations, and stereotactic biopsy.
• Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE.

Schedule

5×8‑hour day shifts, Monday through Friday. Shift options: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM or 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. No call required. 40 hours per week.
