Travel Mammographer - $3,275 per week

Cross Country Allied is seeking a travel Mammography Technologist for a travel assignment in Warwick, Rhode Island. The role involves performing all mammography examinations independently within the imaging section, operating X‑Ray, Mammography, and Bone Density units, ensuring high‑quality and safe procedures. The assignment is temporary for 13 weeks, with start dates noted as 10/12/2026 and 09/13/2026, and requires 40 hours per week on day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Competently operates all units of the imaging equipment, including X-Ray, Mammography, and Bone Density, performing procedures in a safe and high-quality manner.
• Reviews requisitions to determine proper room setup and radiation doses.
• Studies views required for each examination and performs the procedures accordingly.
• Evaluates diagnostic films to ensure quality, repeating unsuitable films when necessary.
• Performs quality control procedures at designated intervals to ensure compliance with Federal and Joint Commission standards of care.
• Trains employees and students in daily procedures.
• Collaborates and communicates regularly with other divisions, facilitating patient access to exam scheduling.
• Demonstrates competency in using Radiology information System, Clinical Information System, Picture Archiving System, and other imaging computer systems.
• Participates in continuing education as required by the section.
• Performs related duties as assigned.
