About the Role
Cross Country Allied is seeking a travel Mammography Technologist for a position in Marble Falls, Texas. The role specializes in mammographic imaging and bone densitometry, performing routine and diagnostic breast imaging studies, and conducting bone density scans for interpretation by a licensed practitioner.
Responsibilities
- Positioning patients for imaging studies
- Operating mammography and bone densitometry equipment
- Applying radiation-protection practices
- Reviewing image quality and repeating studies when necessary
- Documenting services provided
- Maintaining equipment and supplies
- Troubleshooting equipment issues
- Providing a calm, courteous, and empathetic patient experience
Schedule
Day shift, 8 hours per shift, 40 hours per week.
Requirements
- Proficiency in mammography and bone densitometry
- Knowledge of diagnostic and routine breast imaging
- Active professional license or certification with verification required
Additional Information
Routine breast imaging is scheduled approximately every 30 minutes, diagnostic breast imaging approximately every 40 minutes, and bone densitometry scans approximately every 20 minutes. The role collaborates with a scheduler and another technologist. Assignment dates: 11/09/2026 – 05/09/2027.
