Travel LTC/SNF RN - $2,167 per week

About the Role

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for a Long Term Care (LTC) assignment in Canton, South Dakota. This is a 13-week travel nursing job starting on 10/12/2026, with 40 hours per week on day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide extended care to patients living with disabilities or suffering from progressive or chronic illnesses.
• Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing and dressing.
• Record vital signs and administer medications.
• Complete assignments made by physicians.
• Provide routine treatment and assess changes in patient health status.
• Meticulous documentation of medication and treatment administration to ensure continuity of care.

Requirements

• Active RN License or Active LPN License.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS Certification.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in a Long-Term care setting.
• Other requirements to be determined by the client’s facility.

Qualifications

Long-term care nurses must be well-versed in a large variety of health conditions due to the broad range of medical conditions they will encounter.
