About the role
MedPro Healthcare Staffing, a Joint Commission-certified staffing agency, is seeking a quality Long-Term Care nurse for a travel assignment with one of our top healthcare clients.
Responsibilities
- Provide extended care to patients living with disabilities or suffering from progressive or chronic illnesses, including assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing and dressing.
- Record vital signs and administer medications.
- Assess changes in the patient's health status and perform various treatments.
- Complete assignments made by physicians and provide routine treatment.
- Administer medication and ensure meticulous documentation of medication and treatment administration for continuity of care among nursing staff, physicians, and other treatment team members.
- Be well-versed in a large variety of health conditions due to the broad range of medical conditions encountered in long-term care.
Requirements
- Active RN or LPN License.
- Degree from an accredited nursing program.
- BLS Certification.
- Eighteen months of recent experience in a Long-Term Care setting.
- Additional requirements may be determined by the client’s facility.
Schedule
- Start Date: 08/17/2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- 36 hours per week
- 12-hour night shifts
